FSU Beach Volleyball Downs TCU to Advance to CCSA Semifinals

Florida State beach volleyball will spend its Easter Sunday in search of a CCSA championship.

FSU topped TCU on Saturday in Emerson, Georgia in the CCSA Tournament quarterfinals, 5-0. The Seminoles clinched the match with four straight-set victories.

The lone FSU duo to lose a set was Macy Jerger and Kate Privett on Court 5. FSU won the first set, but the TCU duo of Avery Arellano and Hailey Brockett forced a third set. FSU would win the dual, 21-7, 18-21, 15-13.

FSU moves onto the semifinals on Sunday to face either Georgia State or Florida Atlantic. The CCSA Championship will also be played Sunday.
