The move indoors and later start time didn’t affect Florida State women’s tennis on Friday evening. The third-seeded Seminoles felt little resistance from sixth-seeded Wake Forest en route to a 4-0 win in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals.

Rather than Cary, North Carolina, FSU and Wake Forest (20-8) squared off in Durham on Friday. After taking the doubles point, FSU was able to put the contest away with three straight-set victories.

Ana Oparenovic and Carla Touly won in straight sets to give FSU the 3-0 lead. Emmanuelle Salas was able to seal things for the Seminoles with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Wake Forest’s Anna Ulyashchenko.

FSU (20-5) will move on to the ACC Tournament semifinals on Saturday. The Seminoles will face either second-seeded Duke or No. 7 seed Virginia.
