A 3-and-a-half rain delay couldn’t stop Florida State from completing the 3-game sweep of Clemson at Dick Howser Stadium on Sunday, 6-4.

The Seminoles (22-13) overcame an early 3-run deficit with four runs in the second inning. Drew Mendoza’s second home run in three days — a 2-run blast — capped the inning.

Conor Grady worked 5.1 innings of 1-hit, shutout relief to pick up his team-leading sixth win. Logan Davidson drove in two of the four runs for Clemson (25-11).

WP: Conor Grady, FSU (6-3)
LP: Brooks Crawford, Clemson (1-3)
