Lead Story

Weather hasn’t been very accommodating for Florida State baseball early on this season, but the Seminoles made an effort to be accommodating to fans hoping to watch Saturday’s FSU basketball contest against NC State.

Originally scheduled for 1 p.m. EST, Saturday’s baseball contest against Mercer has been pushed back to 2 p.m. EST to allow fans who hope to watch the basketball team face NC State at noon EST time to make it to Dick Howser Stadium for the middle game of a 3-game set. The Seminoles have played doubleheaders — one scheduled — the first two Saturdays of the season and have had each of their scheduled midweek games rained out.

FSU will open the series against the Bears on Friday at 6 p.m. EST. It will conclude on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.
