Lead Story

The speculation is over as previous reports were confirmed on Thursday.

Florida State has officially named former Houston offensive line coach Randy Clements as the new coach of that position. Clements will replace Greg Frey, who was let go last week.

With the exception of 2017 when he coached at Southeastern University, Clements has been an FBS coach since 2003 with two stints at Houston and nine years at Baylor. Clements will be tasked with fixing an offensive line that was one of the worst Power 5 positions groups in 2018.
