One week into the 2019 college baseball season and Florida State has now had almost as many schedule changes as games.

After a scheduled midweek contest with Jacksonville was twice postponed, FSU will play a doubleheader for a second straight Saturday. With inclement weather expected for Sunday, Florida State’s scheduled 3-game series with Youngstown State will now feature two games on Saturday, rather than one game each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The series begins at 4 p.m. EST on Friday at Dick Howser Stadium. The first game of the doubleheader on Saturday begins at 1 p.m. EST with the second to follow shortly after.

By the time the weekend series is over, Florida State will have played seven games in five total days. FSU is off to a 4-0 start after sweeping Maine last weekend by a combined 42-9 score.

Youngstown State was swept by Mississippi State last week over three games by a 36-5 margin. The Penguins and Seminoles have never met on the baseball diamond.
