Florida State is down two players at the skill positions, according to a report from Warchant.

Per the report, neither running back Amir Rasul nor tight end Naseir Upshur will return for a senior season. Playing time was sparse in 2018 for the two players. It was previously reported that both had entered the NCAA transfer portal

A Miami native, Rasul finished with 46 yards rushing on 10 carries and scored his first career touchdown in a 37-19 win over Northern Illinois. After failing to catch a pass in his first two seasons, the Philadelphia-area native Upshur caught four passes for 53 yards last season.

With the departures, FSU is left with just three scholarship players at running back and four at tight end.

Cam Akers, Khalan Laborn and Anthony Grant are the three scholarship running backs. Tre’ McKitty, Camm McDonald, Gabe Nabers and Alexander Marshall are all that remains at tight end. Marshall had reportedly placed his name in the portal.
