Happy hump day, Florida State fans. As your work week heads downhill, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State women’s hoops managed to stay ranked in this week’s polls, but the Seminoles did take a small hit.

In the AP Poll, FSU fell two spots from No. 22 to No. 24. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, Florida State also took a 2-spot dive, falling from 19th to No. 21.

FSU was handled at home last week by Louisville 68-49 before being forced to rally at Virginia Tech on Sunday, 56-54. At 17-3 overall, Florida State will play home games this week against Miami on Thursday night and Wake Forest on Sunday.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Tuesday.

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.
