Following a thrilling comeback win over Virginia Tech on Sunday, Florida State women’s basketball received some bad news.

According to a release, freshman guard Amaya Brown will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury. A native of New Mexico, Brown had appeared in every game for the Seminoles and was averaging nearly 16 minutes per contest.

For the season, she was averaging 3.1 points and 1.5 assists per game. FSU will host Miami on Thursday.
