FSU Hoops Re-enters AP Poll

Florida State’s stay as an unranked team will be a short one —- at least in one poll.

After falling out of the AP Poll last week, the Seminoles reappeared on Monday at No. 25. FSU has been ranked as high as No. 9.

Florida State snapped a 3-game losing streak with a 77-68 win over Clemson on Tuesday night. The Seminoles topped rival Miami for their first ACC road win on Sunday night, 78-66.

FSU was ranked 23rd in last week’s USA Today Coaches Poll, but fell out this week despite going 2-0. Among unranked teams, only Auburn received more votes.

For the season, FSU is 15-5 and 3-4 in ACC play. The Seminoles will try to even their conference record on Saturday when they host Georgia Tech.
