Florida State’s spring game date and start time became official on Thursday, according to a release from the athletic department.

As previously reported by NoleGameday.com, FSU will hold its annual Garnet and Gold game on April 6 at 4 p.m. EST. The intrasquad contest will give fans a first glance at Florida State’s new look offense under first-year coordinator Kendal Briles and with alum Ron Dugans coaching the wide receivers.

The Garnet topped the Gold 31-13 in last year’s spring game with running back Khalan Laborn earning MVP honors. Laborn suffered a season-ending kneecap injury in Week 2 against Samford in 2018, but could be back to try and defend his MVP honor. The game will also feature a handful of early enrollees and quite possibly, Louisville quarterback transfer Jordan Travis.

There is a $10 cost of admission to attend the game and there is a postgame concert. Details of the concert are to be worked out. Last year, both Vanilla Ice and Salt N’ Pepa performed.
