Happy hump day, Florida State fans. As your work week heads downhill, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

While Florida State’s men’s basketball team fell from the AP Poll this week, the FSU women are on the rise.

After falling out of the AP Poll last week, the Seminoles returned this week at No. 22. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, FSU rose two spots from No. 21 to No. 19.

FSU is coming off consecutive wins over Boston College and Duke. The Seminoles will be back in action on Thursday against No. 4 Louisville before visiting Virginia Tech on Sunday.

Between the Lines

FSU basketball defeated Clemson at home on Tuesday night, 77-68.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.

News and Notes

The FSU women’s swimming and diving team won Scholar All-America honors for the Fall 2018 semester by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America on Tuesday.
