Duke’s Cam Reddish knocked down a 3-pointer with less than a second to play on Saturday at the Donald L. Tucker Center to lift the top-ranked Blue Devils to an 80-78 win over No. 13 Florida State.

The Seminoles (13-3, 1-2 ACC) had taken a 78-76 lead when P.J. Savoy went 2-for-3 from the foul line with less than 16 seconds to play. Duke (15-1, 3-0 ACC) was able to get to the line with 5.1 seconds remaining on the ensuing possession when R.J. Barrett drew the contact.

Barrett made the first free throw, but missed the second. FSU was initially given possession after a save by Phil Cofer, but replay gave the ball back to Duke with less than three seconds to play.

Reddish popped free off the inbound for the game-winning shot. Barrett led all scorers with 32 points while Reddish added 23. Zion Williamson didn’t play in the second half due to an eye injury, but finished with 11 points and eight rebounds.

Mfiondu Kabengele finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead FSU. Cofer finished with a season-high 21 points and seven rebounds. Savoy scored 10 points in the loss. FSU led 39-38 at halftime.

FSU will have a quick turnaround as it travels to Pittsburgh for a Monday night contest. Duke will also be in action on Monday at home against Clemson.
