Lead Story

Despite continuing to be snubbed in the AP Poll, Florida State women’s basketball made a small climb in this week’s USA Today Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday.

The Seminoles climbed two spots in the poll from No. 25 to No. 23. At 12-1, FSU is coming off a 79-43 victory over Georgia State last week.

As is the case for the FSU men on Saturday, the FSU women will open ACC play at Virginia on Thursday night. FSU then remains on the road to face North Carolina on Sunday.

Between the Lines

FSU basketball defeated Winthrop on Tuesday afternoon, 87-76.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.
