It’s Friday, Florida State fans. As your weekend nears, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State currently has three former players in the NBA and four that have seen time in the league this season, but the one having the best season appears to be Orlando Magic second-year forward Jonathan Isaac.

For the season, Isaac is averaging 8.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and one steal. Those numbers are tops among FSU players in the NBA.

Isaac’s best effort of the season was an 18-point, 12-rebound showing in a win at Boston on Oct. 22. Dwayne Bacon of the Charlotte Hornets and Malik Beasley of the Denver Nuggets are the only other two former FSU players currently on NBA rosters. Forward Okaro White played in three games for the Washington Wizards earlier this season.
