After falling out of the top 10, Florida State basketball is a top-10 team again.

The Seminoles climbed two spots in this week’s AP Poll to No. 9. It is FSU’s highest national ranking this season.

Florida State went 3-0 this past week with wins over Southeast Missouri State, North Florida and Saint Louis. After two home wins, the Seminoles’ most impressive victory came on Saturday in the Orange Bowl Classic with a 22-point win over a good Saint Louis team that had lost just three games by a combined 11 points.

The Seminoles had ascended to No. 10 in both polls before falling after an idle week last week. FSU won’t play again until hosting Winthrop in its final non-conference game on Jan. 1.

FSU is also No. 9 in this week’s USA Today Coaches Poll. The Seminoles are up three spots after landing at No. 12 last week.
