Since there were no scheduled contests last week, Florida State couldn’t do anything to affect its poll positioning, but the AP voters didn’t see it that way.

In the AP Poll, FSU fell one spot. The Seminoles fell from No. 10 to No. 11 in this week’s poll after cracking the top 10 before January for the first time since 1992.

Florida State has been idle since topping Connecticut on Dec. 8. The Seminoles are 8-1 on the season and will look to improve on that when they face Southeast Missouri State on Monday night.

That will be one three games that FSU plays this week. It hosts North Florida on Wednesday before heading south to take on Saint Louis in the Orange Bowl Classic.

FSU fell two spots in the USA Today Coaches Poll. After climbing into the top 10, FSU fell two spots to No. 12.
