Despite being idle last week, Florida State basketball did some climbing in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll.

There was no Coaches Poll last week, but FSU moves up two spots from its No. 15 preseason ranking. The Seminoles opened the season with double-digit victories over rival Florida and Tulane. Florida State is now No. 13 in the poll.

In the AP Poll, FSU stayed put at No. 14. The Seminoles moved up three spots last week after beginning the season ranked 17th.

After not playing since last Sunday, FSU returns to action on Monday night at home against Canisius in what will be a campus game of the Advocare Invitational. FSU will resume the tournament in Orlando on Thursday against UAB and then against either LSU or the College of Charleston on Friday.
