Lead Story

According to a release, Florida State women’s golfer Frida Kinhult is one of 20 players named to the ANNIKA fall watch list.

The freshman currently ranks third in the country with 68.8 stroke average. Kinhult has finished in the top 10 in four of five tournaments and took home the individual crown at the Jim West Challenge in Texas.

The winner of the award will be announced in May by the Annika Sorenstam Foundation. Wake Forest’s Emilia Migliaccio was the only other ACC player to make the list.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.

On the Agenda

FSU swimming and diving will begin the Georgia Tech Invite in Atlanta on Thursday. FSU women’s hoops plays host to Jacksonville at 7 p.m. EST on ACC Network Extra.
