Florida State wasn’t all that competitive with NC State on Saturday, but that didn’t keep two Seminoles from earning ACC weekly honors.

Sophomore quarterback James Blackman was named ACC Offensive Back of the Week after passing for a career-high 421 yards and four touchdowns in his first start of the season on Saturday in a 47-28 loss. Blackman finished 29-for-46 passing and may have had a bigger day if it wasn’t for a 59-yard completion called back by penalty.

That 59-yard reception would have gone to redshirt freshman wide receiver Tamorrion Terry. Terry was named the ACC Receiver of the Week after hauling in five passes for a career-high 142 yards and two touchdowns. For the season, Terry leads the ACC in yards per reception at 22 and is tied for the conference lead with seven touchdown grabs.

Both will need big games again on Saturday as FSU travels to face Notre Dame. FSU quarterback Deondre Francois and defensive end Brian Burns were the players to most recently win ACC weekly honors for their efforts in the Oct. 20 victory over Wake Forest.
