The Daily Nole — Oct. 31, 2018: Murray, White Suspended for First Half vs. NC State

Lead Story

Florida State will be without a pair of players for the first half of Saturday’s game against NC State.

Both senior wide receiver Nyqwan Murray and redshirt freshman linebacker Zaquandre White will miss the first first 30 minutes of action in Raleigh on Saturday. Both were ejected for throwing punches last week during a 59-10 loss to Clemson.

For the season, Murray leads the Seminoles with 40 catches for 538 yards to go with three touchdowns. A converted running back, White only recently saw his role increase for the FSU defense. White has 12 total tackles this season.

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.

NC State is listed as a 7.5-point favorite over Florida State.
