The lights might become necessary late at Carter-Finley Stadium on Nov. 3.

According to a release from the ACC, Florida State and NC State will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EST. The contest will air on either ABC or ESPN2.

After losing four straight to FSU, NC State bounced back last season with a 27-21 victory in what was the first career start for Florida State quarterback James Blackman. It was the first Wolfpack win in Tallahassee since 2005.

FSU was forced to rally from 10 points down in a 24-20 victory over NC State in its last trip to Raleigh in November 2016. Deondre Francois threw the game-winner for Florida State, finding Travis Rudolph with 3:09 remaining.

The Wolfpack are ranked No. 22 in the AP Poll but coming off their first loss of the season — a 41-7 drubbing at Clemson. FSU got its first ACC home win of the season on Saturday with a 38-17 win over Wake Forest.

The Seminoles will host Clemson this week. NC State will travel to face Syracuse.
