Florida State and Clemson will kick off earlier than usual when the teams meeting in Tallahassee

The team’s will kick off at 12 p.m. EST on Oct. 27. The game will air on either ABC or ESPN.

Last season’s contest kicked off at 3:30 p.m. EST. The previous four contests in Tallahassee have all been prime time kickoffs. This will be the first noon contest since 2005 and the first in Tallahassee since 1994.

The Tigers will seek to become the first ACC team ever to beat the Seminoles four years in a row. Clemson has won three straight over FSU twice from 2005-07 and currently. The only other team to do so since Florida State joined the ACC in 1992 is Wake Forest, which won three straight from 2006-08.

The winner of the annual FSU-Clemson contest has gone on to win the ACC Atlantic in each season since 2009 and the conference in every year since 2011. For that streak to continue, Clemson would probably need to be the victor.

The Tigers have won the last three ACC titles and are 6-0 this season and ranked third nationally. Clemson hosts No. 16 NC State on Saturday. FSU, at 3-3 and 1-3 in conference, will look to get over .500 as it hosts Wake Forest this weekend.
