It’s Friday, Florida State fans. As your weekend comes to a close, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State’s offensive line has been a big weakness this season and even this week, it may not be at full strength.

After Derrick Kelly returned to practice earlier this week, FSU could be without redshirt sophomore Landon Dickerson on Saturday against rival Miami, according to a report from 247Sports. Head coach Willie Taggart told reporters that Dickerson re-aggravated an ankle injury.

Dickerson has started games in each of the last three seasons for the Seminoles, but staying healthy has been a challenge. If he is unable to go, redshirt junior Abdul Bello will likely fill in.

Between the Lines

FSU men’s and women’s tennis continued the All-American Championships on Thursday. FSU soccer was defeated at home by Clemson, 1-0.

On the Agenda

FSU’s women’s tennis will take part in the Wildcat Invitational on Friday at Northwestern. Both the men and women will continue the All-American Championships. FSU volleyball will host NC State at 6:30 p.m. EST on ACC Network Extra.

News and Notes

Miami remains a 13.5-point favorite over Florida State.

Athlon Sports predicts that Miami will defeat Florida State, 34-17.
