Florida State’s football team wore a helmet decal on Saturday to remember the late Burt Reynolds and now fans can also celebrate the life of the FSU legend with their attire.

On Thursday, Tallahassee apparel company, That T-Shirt Guy, will begin shipping the new “Burt” design, which is available in both short and long sleeves. The shirts come in sizes from small to quadruple extra large.

Short sleeves are sold for $22 and long sleeves for $25. The Tallahassee-based company has been in existence for five years, but owner Shannon Sullivan has been selling Florida State apparel since 1985. Sullivan was co-owner of SPORTS BEAT on Pensacola Street in Tallahassee until 2006 and has sold over 500 designs in the past 30 years.

The shirt design is to pay tribute to the legendary Reynolds, who died last week at the age of 82. Known better for his work on the big screen in films such as “Smokey and the Bandit”, “The Longest Yard”, “Deliverance” and many more, Reynolds was an ardent supporter of FSU athletics. Burt “Buddy” Reynolds actually played football at Florida State from 1954-56 and scored two career touchdowns.

To purchase the shirt, visit That T-Shirt Guy on the web. Shipping typically takes about three days.
