A number of freshmen will look to make an impact for Florida State during the 2018 season.

Christian Meadows, a freshman offensive lineman, is likely not one of them, but has a very promising future. Given No. 52 earlier this offseason, Meadows will have some large shoes to fill.

Here’s a look at the five best FSU players ever to wear the No. 52:

5. Antoine Mirambeau (1998-2002)
Center
Stats:
26 starts
A native of Miami, Antoine Mirambeau entered the FSU starting lineup at center in 2001 as a redshirt junior and never left. Over his final two seasons at Florida State, Mirambeau started all 26 games and helped the 2002 team win a 10th ACC title in 11 years. Mirambeau was named second-team All-ACC that season.

4. Chuck Robinson (1961-63)
Guard/Linebacker
Stats:
149 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 3 interceptions
A native of Ohio, Robinson started each of his final 20 games at Florida State and started on both sides of the ball in each of those contests. A guard on offense and a linebacker on defense, Robinson did whatever was asked of him in the early years of the Bill Peterson era.

3. Robert Stevenson (1988-92)
Tackle
Stats:
41 starts
A starter for 3-plus years, Robert Stevenson started 41 games for the Seminoles, serving as protection for the likes of Peter Tom Willis, Casey Weldon and Charlie Ward. At 6-foot-3 and nearly 280 pounds, Stevenson was a menacing figure known for his pass-blocking ability. As a redshirt senior in 1992, Stevenson earned second-team All-American honors from Football News.

2. Broderick Bunkley (2003-05)
Defensive Tackle
Stats:
116 tackles, 36 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, 2 forced fumble
A native of Tampa, Broderick Bunkley was a load for Florida State in the middle of the defensive line. As a 2-year starter, Bunkley appeared in 39 career games, which included 22 starts. As a senior in 2005, Bunkley was named an All-American by several publications while posting an ungodly 25 tackles for loss. Bunkley would be selected in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft and spend nine years in the NFL.

1. Bryan Stork (2009-13)
Center
Stats:
40 starts
Florida State’s only winner of the Rimington Trophy, Bryan Stork made 40 starts during his career. Stork started four games at guard as a redshirt freshman in 2010 before assuming the role of starting center over his final three seasons. Stork became the first Seminole to win the Rimington in 2013 as FSU scored more points than any FBS team ever en route to a 14-0 season and a third national championship.
