The Daily Nole — July 11, 2018: Date for FSU Fan Day Set

Happy hump day, Florida State fans. As your day chugs along, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State football’s annual Fan Day will be held on Aug. 19 at the Donald L. Tucker Center, according to a release.

Admission is free and doors will open at noon EST. The event will last from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. EST.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet with the new coaching staff and FSU players alike and to collect signatures. Each person is allowed just one item to have signed.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Tuesday.

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.

News and Notes

FSU defensive end commitment Quashon Fuller has been invited to the All-American Bowl, which takes place on Jan. 5.

FSU hoops will face UAB on Thanksgiving night to open the Advocare Invitational.

FSU pitcher C.J. Van Eyk was named a second-team Freshman All-American by Baseball America.
