The Daily Nole — July 8, 2018: FSU’s Christmas Among Athlon’s 50 Most Underrated

For Florida State, a large defensive tackle, 3-year starter and a redshirt senior has managed to fly under the radar.

Demarcus Christmas was listed among the 50 most underrated players for 2018 by Athlon Sports on Saturday. A Sarasota native, Christmas is the only FSU player to make the list.

As a redshirt junior in 2017, Christmas finished with 36 total tackles, 4.5 for loss, one sack and a fumble recovery. At 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, Christmas has appeared in 39 straight games for the Seminoles and made 26 straight starts.
