The Atlantic Coast Conference’s media days — better known as ACC Kickoff — are about two weeks away. We now know who will be representing Florida State.

According to 247Sports, sophomore running back Cam Akers will represent the FSU offense while junior defensive end Brian Burns does likewise for the defense. Quarterback Deondre Francois and safety Derwin James represented the Seminoles last year.

One of the nation’s most highly-touted backs out of high school last year, Akers lived up to expectations. Akers rushed for an FSU freshman record with 1,024 yards on the ground to go with eight total touchdowns.

Burns didn’t put up the sack numbers as a sophomore in 2017 as he did as a freshman in 2016, but proved to be a more complete player along the FSU front. Burns finished the campaign with 48 total tackles, a team-high 13.5 for loss and 4,5 sacks.

ACC Kickoff takes place in Charlotte on July 18 and 19.
