The postseason honors continued to roll in on Wednesday for Florida State’s catcher and de facto ace.

Junior catcher Cal Raleigh and sophomore starting pitcher Drew Parrish were each named third-team All-Americans from D1Baseball.com. Raleigh was previously honored as a second-team selection by Collegiate Baseball and a third-team selection from Baseball America.

As a junior this past season, Raleigh hit .326 with 13 home runs and a team-high 54 RBIs. Raleigh was particularly hot at the end of the season as NCBWA named him National Player of the Month for May. Raleigh was a third-round pick of the Seattle Mariners and is expected to sign.

With Tyler Holton on the shelf, Parrish, a lefty, emerged as the go-to guy for the FSU pitching staff. Parrish boasted a 5-1 record and 2.52 ERA while striking out 128 batters in 107 innings — both team-bests.

Parrish was previously named a second-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball. To view the complete D1Baseball.com All-American team, click here.
