Lead Story

The spring for Florida State football came to a close on Saturday with the annual spring game. The Garnet topped the Gold, 31-13, and the player leading the Garnet was recognized for his performance.

Redshirt freshman running back Khalan Laborn was named the game’s MVP. Laborn rushed for 140 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns, including an electrifying 91-yard run that put the Garnet team ahead for good.

Laborn was one of three Garnet players to eclipse the 100-yard mark from scrimmage, joining wide receivers Tamorrion Terry and D.J. Matthews. Laborn had a strong all-around spring and is expected to be in the mix for carries in 2018.
