Florida State Adds 4-Star LB Jaleel McRae

Just hours after 4-star offensive lineman Dontae Lucas committed to Florida State, reports came out that his teammate Jaleel McRae made his own commitment to the Seminoles. McRae is a 4-star linebacker who is also from South Florida.

McRae was once a Florida commit back in 2017. Florida had done a good job getting to him before other major programs offered. Once he de-committed in November, those offers started pouring in, and McRae showed interest in FSU. He attended Junior Day back in February. It seems that his look at FSU on Saturday was enough to convince him to pull the trigger.

He is ranked as the 116th overall prospect and the seventh best outside linebacker, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment vaults Florida State’s 2019 class to third nationally and tops in the ACC.
