The Daily Nole — Feb. 13, 2018: Two Noles Cited for Marijuana

According to a report from the Tampa Bay Times, a pair of Florida State football players were cited for marijuana.

At about about 11:30 p.m. EST on Jan. 31, the Tallahassee Police Department saw running back Zaquandre White smoking what looked to be marijuana, per the report. Once police approached, cornerback Kyle Meyers threw the marijuana cigarette into a Gatorade bottle. White told police that he and Meyers occasionally smoke marijuana together.

White, a freshman, was redshirted last season. Meyers finished with 26 tackles and an interception as a sophomore last season. The two are set to appear in court next month, according to the report.

FSU men’s golf finished the first round of the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate on Monday in first place by seven strokes.
