Florida State can now add Washington to the list of states represented on the football team. Tre’Shaun Harrison announced on Wednesday that he was committing to the Seminoles over Oregon, Tennessee, and Utah.

Originally from Seattle, Harrison is a 4-star athlete that committed to Willie Taggart while he was at Oregon. When Taggart left, so did Harrison, who then received a Florida State offer shortly after Taggart was hired by FSU. It culminated in an official visit on Feb. 2, where Taggart made his final pitch.

Harrison could legitimately make an impact on both sides of the ball. His two main positions are cornerback and wide receiver, and he has the natural shiftiness and speed to excel at each spot.

Since Florida State is looking for wideout depth but is stacked at cornerback, Harrison will likely see action on offense. He could do pretty well at any receiver spot, though his film does point towards a slot-receiver type of role.

He ranks as the seventh best athlete and 160th overall recruit. His commitment brings Florida State’s class up one spot to 11th in the 247Sports composite rankings.
