Since Nov. 29, now half of Florida State’s 2018 recruiting class has decommitted.

The latest is running back Charles Strong. A 3-star prospect out of Gainesville, Strong made his announcement Wednesday night.

Once a class of 18 members, the Seminoles have watched that shrink to nine in just two weeks’ time. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound prospect was ranked as the No. 576 overall prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s the 25th best running back and No. 96 overall prospect from Florida.

With the subtraction of Strong, FSU’s recruiting class falls from 37th overall to 48th and ranks just 10th in the ACC. FSU now has no running backs committed for any class.
