One day after picking up a big win over Florida, Florida State took a loss on the recruiting trail.

Wanya Morris, a 4-star tackle prospect from Grayson High School in Georgia, decommitted from the Seminoles. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound prospect is listed as the No. 53 overall player for 2019 and the fifth best tackle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Morris had pledged to FSU on April 8 and is one of four 2019 Grayson High School prospects to have committed to the Seminoles. He and athlete Ronald Thompkins have since decommitted. Morris said that FSU remains among his top 6 schools.

Safety Kenyatta Watson, a 4-star prospect, and 3-star defensive tackle Tru Thompson are the Grayson prospects who remain committed. Morris was the second-highest rated prospect of the class for FSU behind only 5-star cornerback Akeem Dent.

FSU had held the No. 3 overall class for 2019, according to the Composite. Despite the subtraction of Morris, that remains unchanged.
