It’s Tuesday, Florida State fans. As your week chugs along, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

With the addition of Louisiana-Monroe, Saturday’s contest against Delaware State is no longer the final home game of the year for Florida State, but it is when the Seminoles will celebrate Senior Day.

Notable seniors for FSU include running back Ryan Green, wide receivers Ermon Lane, Jared Jackson and Malique Jackson, defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, linebackers Matthew Thomas and Ro’Derrick Hoskins and safeties Trey Marshall and Nate Andrews. Malique Jackson has yet to appear in a game this season and could be given a redshirt.

Seniors will be honored before Saturday’s contest, which will begin at 12 p.m. EST and will air on Raycom Sports Network. FSU will need to win to become bowl-eligible.

FSU men’s tennis was in Pensacola for the USTA Pro Circuit on Monday.

On the Agenda

FSU hoops opens the 2017-18 season against George Washington on Tuesday. The contest tips at 7 p.m. EST and airs on Raycom Sports.

News and Notes

FSU women’s hoops moved up one spot to No. 17 in this week’s AP Poll.

FSU hoops defeated George Washington in the 2017-18 opener on Tuesday night, 87-67.
