The Daily Nole — Oct. 11, 2017: Rudolph Promoted from Giants’ Practice Squad

Lead Story

Former Florida State wide receiver Travis Rudolph could make his NFL debut this Sunday.

According to reports, the New York Giants have promoted Rudolph from the practice squad to the active roster. Rudolph led the Seminoles in receiving in 2015 and 2016 before declaring for the NFL Draft after his junior year and ultimately going undrafted.

During the preseason, Rudolph was among the Giants’ leading receivers with nine catches for 157 yards. The Giants are slated to hit the road and face the Denver Broncos this weekend.
