Florida State’s future concerns at wide receiver continue to soften.

On Saturday, 4-star Texas prospect Jalen Curry committed to FSU. Curry, a 6-4, 200-pound prospect from Stafford, is listed by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 128 overall player for 2019, the No. 22 wide receiver and the 17th best prospect from Texas.

With three receivers already committed for 2018, Curry becomes the eighth member of Florida State’s 2019 class, the first wide receiver and the second 2019 blue-chip to pick FSU in as many days. FSU landed Akeem Dent, the nation’s top cornerback prospect, on Friday. Curry picked the Seminoles over Texas, Oklahoma and Auburn among others.

Entering the day, FSU had the No. 3 overall class for 2019. The addition of Curry moves the Seminoles up to the No. 1 spot for 2019, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
