Resiliency confirmed.

Florida State overcame a horrendous week of baseball to put together a 4-0 effort this past week. The week started with a 10-9 walk-off win over Jacksonville in which the Seminoles rallied from seven runs down. It concluded with a 3-game sweep of Notre Dame in South Bend.

After the perfect week, the Seminoles were rewarded with a slight jump in the polls.

In both the Baseball America and D1Baseball.com Poll, Florida State sits at No. 12. That’s a 2-spot jump in the former and a 1-spot climb in the latter.

The Seminoles were also 12th in the Collegiate Baseball Poll. That’s a 6-spot jump. The poll where FSU was ranked the highest was the NCBWA Poll, which had Florida State move up two spots from 12th to No. 10.

FSU will again play four games this week. The Seminoles will be in Jacksonville on Tuesday night to take on rival Florida before returning home to start a 3-game series with North Carolina on Friday.
