Happy Thursday, Florida State fans. We’re less than a week away from National Signing Day, but we’ll keep you posted on what’s new in FSU athletics. The news and notes section will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

The 2017 ACC Legends Class was announced on Wednesday. Representing Florida State will be former guard Tim Pickett.

After spending two years at Indian River Community College, Pickett led the Seminoles in scoring in each of his two seasons in Tallahassee. Pickett was a volume scorer with limitless range and a relentless defender. After leading FSU with 17.1 points per game and the ACC with 2.8 steals per contest as a junior, Pickett was a first-team All-ACC performer as a senior during the 2003-04 season when he averaged 16.5 points and 2.3 steals.

Pickett and 14 others will be recognized at the ACC Tournament in Brooklyn from March 7-11.

Between the Lines

Behind 35 points from Josh Okogie, Georgia Tech routed Florida State on Wednesday night in Atlanta, 78-56.

On the Agenda

The FSU women will visit Georgia Tech on Thursday night at 7 p.m. EST.

News and Notes

4-star linebacker Leonard Warner will make his decision on National Signing Day. FSU is thought to be the front-runner for his services.
