Florida State notched another victory over a top 25 opponent on Wednesday as the 10th-ranked Seminoles held off No. 15 Notre Dame, 83-80. FSU is now 17-2 on the season and tied for first place in the ACC at 5-1 in conference.

Unlike last week, Florida State is no longer a No. 1 seed in any of the prognosticators’ NCAA Tournament brackets, but ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm and Dave Ommen of NBC Sports all currently have FSU penciled in as a No. 2. All three also have the Seminoles headed to Orlando.

Lunardi has FSU taking on No. 15 seed and projected Big South champion UNC-Asheville in the Midwest Region. Palm has FSU set to take 15th-seed and projected Ivy League champion Princeton in the South Region. Ommen projected the Seminoles to the East Region to face No. 15 seed and projected Sun Belt Conference champion Georgia Southern.

FSU will have another tall test on Saturday as the Seminoles host No. 12 Louisville. The Cardinals are currently projected as a No. 3 seed in each of the three brackets.
