The Daily Rundown — Dec. 18, 2016: Three FSU Divers Compete in Final

It’s Sunday, Florida State fans. Hopefully, everyone has had a good weekend so far. We’ll keep you up on the latest in FSU athletics by updating the news and notes section throughout the day.

Lead Story

The Auburn Invite got off to a strong start for Florida State as three divers reached the final, which means they finished in the top 8.

In the men’s 1-meter event, senior Dylan Grisell and Tyler Roberge, a junior, ranked sixth and seventh respectively. In the women’s 3-meter, freshman Molly Carlson was third.

The Auburn Invite will resume Sunday.

Between the Lines

In addition to the Auburn Invite, the FSU men’s basketball team defeated Manhattan in the Orange Bowl Classic, 83-67.

On the Agenda

Aside from the Auburn Invite, there are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Sunday.

News and Notes

Wake Forest and Louisville were issued fines by the ACC for their roles in the “Wakeyleaks” scandal.
