Florida State’s 2017 baseball schedule was unveiled Tuesday morning as the Seminoles look to build on a 39th straight season with at least 40 wins.

The 2017 campaign gets underway with a 3-game set against Virginia Commonwealth from Feb. 17-19 at Dick Howser Stadium. Other non-conference weekend opponents include Samford (Feb. 24-26), Oakland (March 3-5) and Pacific (May 5-7) — all 3-game series and all at Howser Stadium.

Conference play will begin at home for FSU against Boston College on March 10. The regular season will wrap up at Louisville on May 20.

The Seminoles will face rival Miami for a 3-game set April 21-23. This year’s games are in Coral Gables.

As always, FSU will play rival Florida three times throughout the course of the year. The Gators have ended FSU’s season in the NCAA Tournament in each of the last two seasons.

The first meeting between the teams will take place March 14 in Gainesville. The rivals will duke it out in Jacksonville on March 28 and conclude the season series at Dick Howser Stadium on April 11.
