FSU Up to 17th in CFP Rankings

Florida State’s climb up the College Football Playoff rankings continued Tuesday night as the Seminoles moved up one spot in the poll to No. 17.

After starting at No. 22 at the first release of the poll two weeks ago, the Seminoles moved up to 18th last week. FSU was benefited this past week by having seven ranked teams fall to unranked opponents.

The Seminoles were impressive on Friday in a 45-7 victory over Boston College. FSU will have a chance to continue its climb up the ladder this week as the Seminoles head to the Carrier Dome to take on 4-6 Syracuse.
