Despite suffering its third loss in eight games this season, Florida State remained ranked in both of the traditional polls on Sunday. The Seminoles led late on Saturday night before falling to No. 3 Clemson, 37-34.

Florida State now sits at No. 19 in both polls. That’s a 7-spot drop in the AP Poll and a 5-spot drop in the Amway Coaches Poll. The top 5 in each poll remained unchanged and identical with Alabama remaining No. 1. Michigan was again second, followed by Clemson, Washington and Louisville.

In total, five ACC teams are ranked. Aside from Clemson, Louisville and FSU, North Carolina is No. 17 in the Coaches Poll and 18th in the AP Poll. Virginia Tech ranks 21st in the Coaches Poll and 23rd in the AP Poll.

FSU is the only 3-loss team ranked in either poll. Florida State will look to become bowl-eligible next week when it visits N.C. State.
