FSU Up a Spot in Each Poll

Despite being idle this week, Florida State moved up one spot in each of the two traditional polls at their release on Sunday.

The Seminoles found themselves at No. 14 in the Amway Coaches Poll after sitting at 15th last week. In the AP Poll, FSU climbed to No. 12 after ranking 13th last week.

Alabama continued to top both polls, followed by Michigan, who moved up to second in each poll following Ohio State’s loss to Penn State. Clemson, Washington and Louisville rounded out the top 5 in each poll.

FSU, Clemson and Louisville were among five ACC teams ranked. North Carolina is No. 21 in the AP Poll and 20th in the Coaches Poll. Virginia Tech rounded out both polls at No. 25.

The third-ranked Tigers will visit Florida State this Saturday.
