Despite a sloppy win over Wake Forest on Saturday, two Florida State football players performed well enough to garner recognition by the ACC.

Florida State wide receiver Travis Rudolph was honored by the ACC as Receiver of the Week for his 13-reception and 238-yard performance against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Rudolph’s performance single-handedly vaulted him into the lead for receptions and yards on the team. On the season, Rudolph has 32 receptions, 497 yards, and three touchdowns. He is currently averaging 15.5 yards per reception, the most of any wide receiver.

Quarterback Deondre Francois was named Rookie of the Week after passing for 319 yards and one touchdown, while also contributing a rushing touchdown. His season totals come out to 2,020 total yards and 13 total touchdowns with five total turnovers.

For Rudolph, it is his third time being selected as Receiver of the Week. His other two were for 2015 against Syracuse and earlier this season against Charleston Southern. Francois is in a similar boat, as he was honored by the ACC after his Ole Miss and Miami performances this year.

Both players will need to rest up on the bye week before taking on the No. 4 Clemson Tigers on Oct. 29.
