Two Florida State players were honored by the ACC on Monday for their performances in Saturday’s 20-19 victory over No. 10 Miami.

Dalvin Cook was named ACC Offensive Back of the Week after finishing with 209 yards from scrimmage on Saturday. Cook rushed for 150 yards on 27 carries and also hauled in a 59-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Deondre Francois.

Francois, a redshirt freshman, was named the ACC’s Rookie of the Week. Francois went 20-for-31 passing for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Saturday’s victory. Francois showed tremendous toughness in the win, coming back from an apparent shoulder injury early in the game to help the Seminoles overcome an early 13-0 deficit. Francois consistently took shots, but stood in and make one good throw after another to pick up his second victory over an AP ranked opponent in just six career starts.

Francois and Cook will look to build on a solid performance on Saturday as FSU plays host to Wake Forest.
