The release of the college football polls may have been pushed back from Sunday to Monday, but voters still thought highly of Florida State’s 20-19 road victory over No. 10 Miami on Saturday night.

In the AP Poll, the Seminoles climbed nine spots from No. 23 to No. 14. There was no change to the AP top 5 as Alabama continued to top the poll, followed by Ohio State, Clemson, Michigan and Washington.

FSU was one of five teams from the ACC to be ranked in the AP Poll. In addition to Clemson at No. 3, Louisville came in at No. 7. Miami fell to 16th — one spot ahead of No. 17 Virginia Tech.

In the Amway Coaches Poll, Florida State climbed five spots from 21st to 16th. The top 5 mirrored the AP Poll. Clemson and Louisville were third and fifth, respectively. Miami sits at No. 17 while Virginia Tech is 19th.
